Frequent moisturizing is recommended (after you wash off the peel). You should also avoid exposure to direct sunlight. Additionally, it will be important for you to apply the Post Peel Protectant provided by your med spa practitioner about 2 – 4 times a day.
To see optimum results, your practitioner might recommend that you return for multiple VI Peel appointments, spaced 4 – 6 weeks apart.
It’s worth noting that the majority of people tolerate chemical peels very well. However, some do experience side effects like itching, swelling, redness, and inflammation. In rare cases, an allergic reaction can occur.
